Power-Packer provides hydraulics for VW Golf's convertible roof

Oldenzaal, The Netherlands, June 20th, 2011

Power-Packer, a leading name in motion control systems, has been awarded the hydraulic convertible top actuation system order for the VW Golf, the cabriolet version of the Volkswagen Golf.

According to Bart Kroeze, Sales Manager Power-Packer Automotive Division “With the support of the entire organization we were able to finalize this multi-million euro order with Webasto-Edscha Cabrio GmbH in June of this year. We are pleased that our customer has awarded us with this vote of confidence".

 

Power-Packer will produce the hydraulic units for the VW Golf Convertible for the next 6 years (2011 – 2016), with an approximate total volume of 170.000 units
